The Seoul Museum of Art lacks a significant permanent collection, with the majority of the museum being dedicated to exhibits. We got to catch a surprisingly large Andy Warhol exhibition, with the majority of it on loan from the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. No pictures allowed inside of course, but we snagged a few in the lobby.

Deoksugung Palace
Typical of Seoul, we turned a corner on our way to the Seoul Museum of Art and stumbled upon this procession. Later we took a walk through the palace grounds despite the cold. While not nearly as expansive as the other, more well known palaces in the city, Deoksugung Palace is still a nice stroll, and conveniently located next to city hall.

Cebu City - New Years Eve
We spent New Years Eve in Cebu City, the second largest city and location of the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines.
Magellan's Cross. The cross was planted by Magellan on April 21, 1521 and stands in front of city hall.
Fort San Pedro
The center city circle as seen from our hotel room.
To ring in the new year, everyone in the city sets off fireworks from their roofs. We could see hundreds of fireworks in every direction. Incredible.

Alona Beach, Philippines
For our winter vacation we spent four days relaxing on Alona Beach.
These are the Oops Cottages, where we stayed.
This area of the Philippines is known for its dive sites, so on our last full day on Alona Beach we went diving. This video is taken off of our beach, and while what we saw wasn't quite as amazing as this, the video gives a relatively close impression.
